How to tighten up double hung windows

Hi, I'm trying to replace these sash balances that have no markings to indicate manufacturer. They may have been original to the windows. It's the only system evident, and doesn't appear to be a retrofit. The channels are 5/8" wide, and the balance is ~24 1/2 from top to bottom on a 27"-high sash.Th ... (cont.)

Good morning, I feel pretty good about all of my selection details except for the strength. I can't remove my sash to weigh it. The sash is 36"x47" and aluminum, double paned. I think I have extended spiral balances. One window has metal rods which are approx. 28.5" and the spiral rod is 30.75". The other window has a metal rod approx. 16.5" and its rod is 18.75". They are 3/8" in diameter and the holes in the spiral rod at the bottom are 1/2" apart. Do you sell these ... (cont.)

I am looking for a window lift and pivot shoe. The window lift is 5/8" x 5/8" square and 24 7/8" long. The pivot shoe dimensions are shown in the attached file. I will need two of these.

I need to replace the spiral balance springs in some old windows. They are 25" long. Picture 1 attaches to the frame and picture 3 attaches to the window. If you don't carry the exact spring, can I use a more "modern" one as long as I replace both?

We have a summer cottage and one of the windows is very difficult to open and close - seems like there is too much tension on the spiral balance. Please see attached. Sorry I dont have an image of the hook mechanism. Looked like a small belt clip with a small tab pin in the middle and a small back pressure tab to hold it in place. Clipped directly to the bottom of the sash. No markings to speak of.
