16-002 Take Out Clip

The guide shown in the above picture is just hanging loose. When you go to open the window, it opens very hard and pulls to the side where this guide is located. Looks like the guide is broken or has come loose. Do you have this part available, and do you have instructions on how to replace it? Than ... (cont.)

The brand name is Repco. We are looking to replace channel balances on four windows that are likely from the 1980s. The number on the metal part reads 29 C and 3.S.1, they are 30" long. I got the balance springs in and it's really tight. It's sort of chewed up the lower section. Maybe I need the other smaller ones. I ordered S380 Also ? do you guys sell weather stripping that goes at the bottom?

I included the stamping which was visible on another window, not ocean exposed. I have three windows with messed up balancers. Two of them have both balancers messed up and one of them has one of the two messed up. Here is a picture of one of the balancers. It is 1/2 in wide. Also, the top sash guides are broken on the window with broken balancers.

Window mfg: Merzon Industries Replacing pair of 3330 likely with 3320s to ease closing. This is a trial run, and if these balancers work, more windows balancers will be ordered. We need 4 Channel Balance Rods that are 30" long by 9/16" wide as per the attached photos. The windows are hurricane glass & are 33" w x 30" high. We also might as well get 4 new of take-out clips. Thanks ... Grant

I believe that I need the #380 channel balance. The length of the metal part is 24" and the width is 1/2". The #2320 is stamped in the metal. Hi Swisco! I'm a renter, but I also moonlight as a handyman. This window balance keeps falling out of my single-hung window when I lift it, and when I close the window again, I hear a big "CLUNGGK" as if it somehow snapped into place and the spring is reverberating. Your take-out clip on your website shows the overall height dimension to be 1 1/4". As you can see from my attached picture, mine is only about 7/8" tall. Will your clip work for my window?
