spiral balances
I have 20 sashes from an old church, each weiging 16.5 lb and 36" tall. The existing slot for the old balance mechaniasm in 5/8 x 5/8 and runs the full length of the stile. What do you recommend? Pictures enclosed.

Weird old window balancer
26" long 5/8" diameter. Wooden window frame probably built in the early 60s. Not sure if it is a block and tack, spiral, or channel type. Fits into groove on side of window. Metal piece slides up and down and is screwed into frame. Unable to find any numbers or letters on balancer. I have more pictu ... (cont.)

Aluminum sash balances
Aluminum sash balances that have stripped the lower spring inserts. Springs are 28.5" length 0.5" diameter. Sash weight approximately 7lbs. One window, two sash, 2 - 15" white springs Balances and 2 - 17" spring balances
these are pretty old, the tube was plastic which cracked as removed them the tips seem tp be white, the sashes are wooden and non - tilt

Replacement Jamb Liner and Balance
Hi, I have a house with windows from the 1950s and the jamb liners and balances are in rough condition. I would like to know if there is a replacement known for these. I think the spiral balances would fit the window channel. What about liners?

I have a sash that measures 31 1/4" (whole window top and bottom is 60") and weighs 11 lbs. Non-tilting, old wood windows. Which spiral do I order (they used to have the rope and weight system, so these will be a new system, not a replacement.

spiral balance replacements
Hi, I would like to order two pairs of spiral balances. I am hoping you can identify the model needed by the photos. The window is non-tilt and weighs approximately 25-30 lbs. The only identifying number stamped on the end of the spiral is 51.

Window balance springs with "omega" clips
I have old wood windows. The balance springs are shot... generally the ends of the springs have broken allowing the spring to retract up into the channels and no longer provide support for the window. Recommendations for Installing spiral balances
