I have a few Simonton windows that need new coil balance springs. The existing broken spring is not marked. They are the 1/2" wide spring. The window size is roughly 24" wide and 19" high. I am not sure what spring weight to order. Thanks

Hi Not sure if I need 6 or 9 strength coils With the hole at the bottom it reads 6 but the shoe had 18 marked on it I'm in the UK and coil springs are pretty unusual over here only seen a few in 20 years but want to attempt this repair,from your site they look like s152 coils Thanks greg ... hi The dual coil springs have one #4.5 35" and one #5.5 35" coil springs (232208 is printed on #4.5 coil). The #5.5 35" coil spring was broken into halves. the sash weights about 17.6 lbs. which part should I order to replace the broken #5.5 coil spring?
