Hi, I need to replace this part in my sash window, the coil has broken down and window won't stay open. The coil has the sequence (#6.5 35" P) on it. We are guessing it's a 6.5 lbs Serie 160 Coil Balance and 3/4" coil single support. I need to replace the whole housing and want to be sure I have the right measurements.

Attached are pictures of the coil balance for my window. These pictures are from my window that weighs 23lbs. This piece has no numbers. It came from dream homes. I had to make cutout to get out after watching your video. This came out of double hung vinyl window. Looks nothing like other side coil as it is all one piece on other side.

I am working on a couple of Simonton windows with coil balances. one is a single coil stamped 5 and the other is a dual coil with the lower coil stamped 4 and the upper coil stamped 6.5. Which coil balances should I use?Thanks, Robert

Coil spring is broke or came loose. Any help..

I believe the parts I need are as follows (see photos): 1/2" coil balance, S160-06, 6.5# 1/2" coil single support, 15-150S 1/2" pivot shoe, 15-111 I intend to replace both sides.

This is a heavy window, the coils disconnected from the shoe.

I've attached a picture of the balance spring and pivot shoe. I need a replacement spring.

Please help to choose right coil balance for my window. Weight of the moving part is 13LB. Attached are the pictures from the window. If you have a good tips how to replace it ,please include them in the email. Thank you so much in advance.

If I pull the window to get a photo of the lower piece, it will take me forever to get it back in. I hope the upper piece will tell the story. I do not know the maker of these windows.
