S900-29 29" Series 900 Spiral Balance

Attached are the pictures for a spiral balance. The balance is overall about 29 1/8 and from he bottom of the balance to the black rubber piece its 28 1/2 and diameter is 3/8. The white piece is 17/8 inches in length and 1 inch wide. Hopefully you can help. Thanks

I couldn't get any good pictures of my spiral balance. It does measure 29" and is 3/8" in diameter. It has IRB 3 stamped on the balance. It does not have any type of bushing or fitting at the end of the tube as shown in your picture. Would I be correct in ordering this item as described? Thanks, Den ... (cont.)

The spring inside of my spiral tilt window balance broke. I measure the rod and it was 3/8in and rod was 28.5. Would that be 29 or 28in rod? Should I replace both of them.

Can your spiral balance replace these with plastic cover? If so, what color should I buy?

I have the equivalent of the 29" long, 3/8" diameter Series 900 spiral balances for a window sash that weighs just under 19lbs. The current spiral balances are all yellow tip, which appears too strong. Am I OK switching to a red or green tip?

Hi, I would like to replace the balances on my single hung tilt window. They are the spiral type measuring at 28.5 inches from top to bottom,excluding anything beyond the tube portion, only the actual tube was measured. I think the diameter is 3/8". The spiral balance needed is a 3/8? diameter x 29? long. I need the bottom clip that goes in the channel as well that the bottom of the window locks into and pivots for removal. The bottom clip is 1 3/4? long c 1? wide see pics. 251-599-9170 Rick Lewis

I need 8 - 29" tube length spiral balancers. 8 - 25" tube length spiral balances. My windows are double hung, tilt. If I am weighing correctly, they each weigh about 17 pounds. The spiral balancer that is in each are the color yellow! How do I order these?

I am trying to replace defective spiral balancers. They are: 3/8" diameter 29" long sash weighs 17.7 lbs Looking at the tip it appears to be Orange which is not on the list of available colors to order for a 3/8 29 inch balancer.

The home was built in 1998 or 99. Original windows and parts. Some windows are not able to stay open any longer without wooden props supporting them. I have Kinro windows. I need spiral balance replacements. My sash is 28x29 and around 15 pounds I believe. the metal is 3/8 round and 29" long and with the spring collapsed it is 30 1/4 long. Do you have replacement for these windows and a tension tool for it.
