Hello, I bought American Craftsman windows series 8500 from Home Depot in 2006. The spring broke. I cut out a space and removed the pivot shoe, I have two coil housing pivots 15-087 (going to replace both side while I'm at it). The original coil housing pivot has 8 stamped on the side. The springs left and right are broken, do they come separately or with the whole sash? It says 8 A J on the spring.

#7 is stamped on the balance spring from the single hung window. The unit is 1 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" high overall (to outside of prongs) x 1/2" deep. Once identified, we'd like to order 3 pairs.

I'm wondering what is the best removal technique to remove the window sash with the 15-087? As once you tilt the window towards you, the sash pivots lock into position and I'm unable to twist the sash for removal. With the 15-087, you are unable to simply pop one side upwards. Yes. I have traco windows installed back in 2004. The one window will not stay up falls and slams right back down. What do I need to replace this. Also my latch's are broken to can you help please. Thank you Craig
