I need too replace the balance in my tilt window

trayco double hung windows. the coils on both sides of the lower window have broken. They were lifetime warranted parts for the windows but it seems Trayco has been sold several times and the last company went out of business. The coil strap on my vinyl window has snapped. The window is an LbL vinyl series 2600 SH 24"x42". The strap channel is 9/16ths of an inch wide and @ 1-3/8th inches deep.

How can I know which springs to order for my window? It is a vinyl replacement 24 x 46 in size. Both coil springs are broken.

I need two of these to replace the ones in the picture. Please let me know what i need to order thanks.

I believe the window needs a new channel installed, as I do not see one. However, there are balances. The top window will not stay up or closed unless windows are in locked position. Had 2 coil balances break on an Anderson window today.It looks like the coils are stamped 5 BD or DD and they measure 15/16" wide.The sash weighs 20 pounds 8 ounces.They look like your series 180 coil balances.Would the 5 pound be the correct one?Would the 15-086 tandem coil housing and the 15-087 c ... I have a broken spring in a sash support coil balance. The housing looks like a 15-087 and the spring looks like a S180. The housing has the number 5 printed on it; does this mean the spring is a 5 lb spring? (pictures attached) Thank you for your time.

How do u get both springs to hook on to the screw bracket that anchors them? The significant amount of tension in the coil springs appears to make that somewhat difficult? Please explain?

I need help identifying Traco roller tilt constant force balances for this window. Both top & bottom. I weighed each sash out of the window frame & each sash weighed 21.1 lbs. can u tell me All needed items to put this double hung window back into proper operation.

I ordered 4 - S180-5 for my Traco windows but I'm not sure they are the correct weight after comparing the new one with the old coil. I included a picture of the old coil with a stamp on it with a large number 5 and in smaller type, 37w. There is also a picture of the coil housings. The last pict ... (cont.)

By the looks of the pics I submitted, I believe I need (2) 15-087, (2) S180-5. Am I suppose to have 15-086 installed as well together with 15-087, or is 15-087 is all that I need to replace if I did not see the 15-086 when I took the sash out.
