I have a few windows with broken coil springs. The windows do not go up or down. On at least 1 window the metal peg that stick out from the window and attaches to the window frame is also broken. There also some windows with broken plastic pieces that holds the window when you want to tilt it inside ... (cont.)

What do I need to replace these? I probably need 6 pairs, they are all disintegrating

The coils are stamped 9, then 7, then 4 reading from the upper coil down to the bottom bent one. Somehow they just broke in the runner.

Trying to ID these. The patent says 5704165 but then its also stamped 485 on back. The other shoes with that patent number look markedly different than this one. The plastic piece behind the coil also attaches to the shoe with two little wings. Coil says S9

Hi, I'm trying to revive 13 single hung vinyl windows in my 20-year old home. Most of the balances have become brittle and several have failed. I cannot find a manufacturer anywhere on the windows. Looking for this 3 coil plastic housing. Its 4.75" X 1.25" long. The coil is good.
