S385-30 30" Series 385 Channel Balance

I have 6 of these balances to replace and I ordered the 2810 option, needless to say they didn't hold the windows up.

I have a property with 3 bedroom windows. Each window has 2 tension rods which popped out of their position; thus,disabling their function to operate.Each rod is approximately 31" long including the plastic ends. On two different windows the left channel balance string has snapped. I am interested in two new sets. The metal channel is 30" long and the spring is 14" long including hooks.

Hi there! Looks like you need a new balance and a new top sash guide. For the balance, it would be either our S380-30 or S385-30, depending on the depth of the shoe. That's the only difference. Hi,I purchased the incorrect channel balance rails. I'm hoping you can help me figure out which parts I need? Also how can I return the parts that I received?The number on the side is 2920 but the bottom is too wide on what I purchased and they should be more like what's in the photos that I attache ... stamp 2950 of bs1 30 inch long channel is 1/2 inch

So from your other post from Tampa Florida, do I also need the S380-30 or S385-30? The Channel length is 30", the stamp is 2950 BSI.

Hi I try to get (30" Window Channel 1/2) Balance but I don't sure about it, I add the images for help. I don't see the "2924DSL" series number in the list when I pick the 385 series. Please, I need be sure before purchase the product. thanks

There is no stamps on the channel balance. They appear to 1/2 inch wide and 30 inch in length. Four windows (8 balances) that measures approximately 50x32. Markings printed on the channel balances differ from window to window.

Need new balance

The original balances (from 8 years ago) were 2950 and too strong to lower the window easily. I had a contractor change 5 windows & he used 2940 & they work great. Both window balances are broken They are stamped "IMP 29 DS 38 BS1 BT " The IMP DS and BT arestamped vertically in smaller type. The metal portion is 30" long. Window is about 30# or more and swings in from the bottom when lifted without the balances.What model do I order?James

I cant seem to find the correct top sash guide from your list. Measurements included in my photos. I recently purchase/installed 1 set of balances ( 30" SERIES 385 CHANNEL BALANCE fit perfect, thanks) and am ordering the remaining 9 sets + some replacement sash guides.
