My overall window is 39-1/2" x 53-1/4". I need balances , locks and the metal device at the bottom of each sash that gets inserted into the show of the balancer. Thank you. -Domenic

The channel balance is 9/16x 9/16 and marked 26D. The Shoe is also 9/16 thick and 1 1/4 wide. The pin is as you can see broken but is mounted in a full length hold at the bottom of the window and needs to match the shoes. I order Series 795 window balances. The balances fit the channel but the Balance shoes that were shipped with the balances don't fit. In the picture above the old shoe is on the left and the new shoe is on the right. The old shoe is approx 7/8 or 15/16. I also need to replace the Pivot bars so th ... (cont.)

I can't remove the part then the window will fall completely out. Its the spring that is inside the frame to make the window go up and down. The window is 64" long and the spring measured at 53" not sure what else I can do? Let me know if this will help to get a replacement part. Thank you ... (cont.)

Hello,We are confident that the S795-21 will work in place of the balance that works with this shoe as long as you measured the metal channel and chose then 21D stamp based on the stamp on your old balance. You may want to switch the shoe that comes with the S795 balance with our 15-195B shoe with a ... (cont.)

The Unique window balance went out of business in the late 1990's but we do believe we can help. May we see the another balance and pivot shoe in the window track and the pivot bar on the bottom of the sash, so we can come up with a replacement?
