26-040 Pivot Bar, 3"

The bottom sash bracket has rusted away and can no longer connect to the spiral balancer base bracket. I think the balancer is ok, I just need to replace the sash bracket. Thank's for your help. I have not found any names or numbers on the window.

I have a broken coil balance spring that has no number stamped on it. How do I find a repalcement spring for this.Thank you Ron

Can you please help me to locate a replacement pivot bar for a tilting sash final window. Over all leanght is 2.5" with a single screw located at the 1.5" mark. As you can see the post itself has rotted away.

I am looking to replace channel balances on windows at my beach house. Balances on all windows are failing due to rust. I built my house in 2006 using Stanley Double Hung Windows. It is 29 inches long with a white plastic covering. This came off a bedroom window and needs replacement. I also will need the adjustment tool. The diameter of the spiral balance is 3/8 inches

Hi! Today, I opened my windows to lubricate the balancers. I pulled them inward to find that the tilt pivot bars were so rusted that they actually broke. The tilt pivot bars snapped from the balance shoes. We were able to remove the rusted pivot bars. I'm not yet sure how to remove the balance shoes ... (cont.)
