S395-28 28" Series 395 Channel Balance

Two window sizes, both use a 28" balance. One balance stamped 2740 BSI LK on the smaller window. The other balance stamped 2790 BSI LG 31 on the larger window. I have some 28" long channel balances. They carry a stamp of 2790N 26. The sash weighs 24.4 lbs, but you don't have a stamp listed for 2790, and a 24 pound sash would be your standard 2740. Do you have any idea where the 2790 stamp comes from? WHat balance should I use?

Hi, I am looking to pick up a couple Alenco Windows channel balances (number 2740). The steel measures 28" and it is about 1 more inch for the other plastic parts. Can you tell me what part to order (with all the plastic parts and spring, etc included). thanks. Doug

Fisher appears to be brand of window. Approx. 12 years old. I need both balances and want to make sure I get right part. A customer already removed them so all I have is this one balance. BSF Window 2730 stamped 28" lenghth 1/2" width

I'm trying to replace my channel balances. The label on the window frame reads "Series 710 H-R40-48x84". The channel balance on the right side (viewed from the inside of the house) is stamped 27-3 as seen in the picture. The left balance is too damaged to read the stamp but it appears it might say ... While I was able to identify our channels as 12in wide, 28in long, with likely a 19-005 on top and stamped "2740 3SI AJ", I cannot match the shoe and subsequently any balance series in your catalog.
