I have double hung windows. The pane is 28 pounds. The existing channel balance is 24" long and is hooked on an opening below a screw hole (see picture 4). The screw hole is 1" above the opening, so do I get a 24" long replacement, or do I get a 25". Thanks

Jamb liners are 46-3/8" on the long dimension. 15 degree sill angle. "Vee" plough. There is a "20HD" stamp on all the balances, followed by a "K%" or "K7" (or something close to that, shown in attached picture). Double hung, tilt out, compression fit.
