I had Ideal double hung windows installed in July 2019 and last week the coil snapped. It is located on the bottom panel, on the right side. Hello, I have attached pics of what I think you need to see. My upper window is in free fall now. The support mechanisms measure approx 5.5" long. The windows are tip in style and dated 2007.
