I don't think a ribbed channel balance e.g. S751-27 will work because the sash lock must project into the jamb liner and the ribbed channel would leave no room for the sash lock. Some appear to be your s750 that uses 15-112 shoe which accepts a flat bar on either side bottom of window; some of my windows have (s751) balances and use a black shoe (15-014) with the bottom of window either side attached a v wedge ... Hi, sorry I didn't think to get any additional information off of the window sash but I certainly can go back to the building and get more info. Can you identify the part from this photo. Hi Can you guys help me? Windows are 10 year old Crestline. On my bigger windows the springs come apart. It appears the plastic clip is breaking off from spring end. Thanks George

One of balance knife lock shoes in my old window is broken. I found the code number on the sash channel is 30HD. I include the picture for the unbroken part on the other side of the window. Please help identify the part so I can order the part. Thanks!

Your rep thought these windows look like tilt window balances, but I don't think so. I think the windows are too old to tilt. What do you think?

I've included 3 pics, one shows the shoe in the track with what's left of another shoe for reference. I tried to drill and reattach the pulley to the spring but despite using hardened steel it just bent and disconnected during install. I am looking for 2 of these units.

This came off of a Crestline window. I got no help from the retailer nor the manufacturer. Beyond the "40C", there are some smaller stamps, "198" and "VN" from what I can read (they are really small stamps). Do you have balance cord for 15-014 balance shoe? i have the shoe and the channel which I got from Swissco. I need the cord. Any idea where I can get it? 1/16 inch structural cord in hard to find.
