Looking for replacement parts for a single hung Capitol window. About 21 years old and springs are breaking. Not sure of the weight or model.

Only identifier on the balancer is the letter H. Unknown window manufacturer. Uses T pivet bar. Weight of the window is 22 lbs.

This part came out of a vinyl replacement window. it's a double-hung 30"W X 61"H.The only markings I saw was an H on the back of the paw (the part that holds the window) and the number 4 stamped on the coil.Any advice would be appreciated.James

Thank you for this service! Home built in 1978. Two windows do not stay open and I believe it is due to snapped ribbons. One window measures 29.5 in x 20 in. The other is 21.5 in x 17.5 in. Hello, I'm not sure what you'd call this but it's the part that controls the window from sliding down and keeps it at a desired level. Has a strap that connected to the bottom go the window pane. The coil spring in the window on both sides has broke, the window will not stay up; the weight of the window is 17 pounds, unfortunately we do not know the name or make of window. It is a single hung, window is installed around 1996, no visible markings or make on the window.

How thick are these springs? The thickness of the metal, not the diameter of the coil.

Looking for a possible replacement Coil Balance for the one shown. Dimensions are approx. 1.25" X 9/16" "4" is imprinted in each coil. I don't see a stamp on it, there is the number 4 on one of the coils.

Not sure how to remove the springs safely. The spring on the right side of the window snapped.

The picture show the old part. the only markings I see are an 8 on the all plastic part and the numbers 440 stamped into the metal band on the other part.
