On some of my windows, the string has broken or the lock shoe keeps sliding up. I feel a good number of the balance springs should be replaced, since they are almost 20 years old.However, I couldn't find an exact match on your website. I have upper and lower window channel balances for unknown manufacture I need to replace. They are for tilt windows, measure 28 3/16 long, 9/16 wide with 26rb B.S.I stamped on them.

I have no idea what manufacturer makes these but it appears to be the shoe part of the balancer

The pin is broken at the base. Please note that the bottom screw hole is at an angle.

Simco double hung window, 19X 26 (top) , 19X 39 (bottom) , installed 10/1996, has broken balance shoe. The entire balance assembly is cream color plastic, with metal brake. These are a sheetmetal and plastic shoe where they stop moving and then the plastic cracks and pieces break off. Can these be replaced? I have almost 50 of these windows. Picture of pivot shoe, pivot pin and a few broken pieces attached.

Everything about your ribbed balance looks correct except for the shoe. I think it would still work, but if it doesn't how big of a pain to return? I'm looking for 20 of them, but Think I should start with 2 to make sure they work.
