I have 5 window units double hung,double swing. the parts look almost identical to ones a previous "quick learner" sent to you and you suggested a pivot/brake part no. 15-177 and coils s-152. I have a window balance that is 1/2/ in wide and it has a tongue on it with a single round hole with the stamping 8 K on it.

Also if you have those plastic clips to open the window.

this is the balance parts for my windows. there are no part numbers on these items. In your part listings you show a # number next to the items, 3, 4 ,7 lb. is this the lifting strength of the balance spring. I have a widow sash that weighs 16 #. What selection would I use.

The bottom sash is about 29.5" wide x 22" high. It was using a single coil system on both sides. The coil snapped on both sides. Looking for vinyl bushings to fit over existing coils versus just the screws. Also, I am wondering if my existing coil spring stamped with the number 8 and 9...are equivalent of our replacement springs they are stamped as 8K and 9K. A few windows in the house have broken coil balances. They are tilt in vinyl-type windows with no name brand on them. I couldn't see a spring coil with the notch this one has, so perhaps I would need the whole part or just the coil? No markings to describe the weight of the spring. 2 are on each w ... (cont.)

I'm not sure which Pivot Bar to use. The Bar for my window was broken on both sides at the weakest point, the screw hole. I didn't think to actually measure anything with a digital caliper until after I put what remained of the pivot bar back to at least have a window in place. I did take a picture ... (cont.)

This is the part that moves up and down in the track for the double hung vinyl windows. The window 'slides' 14.5 inches and weighs 15 pounds.I'm also looking for the part that stays 'fixed' in one place which the spring attach onto.

Hello, I have a coil balance spring system on a window where the lower sash will not stay open. When observing the coil balance, it's obvious the coil spring has slipped off the coil balance clip.
