Hello, I'm in need of both spring balances for a small bathroom Simonton window. Above the Patent # of 5,232,208 on one coil are the markings "6.5 36". There are 2 coils.The Patent # on the bottom plastic pivot shoe is 5,704,165. The pivot shoe is 1 1/4 inch wide, 1 7/16 inch tall at the center, a ... (cont.)

Hi,I'm looking for replacement balances that look like this(see pics). It is 1/2" wide and printed on it is 6.5 ( I imagine that means lbs) and 33"I see you have a similar balance the 165 egress that is 3/8 wide. Would these work? The company that installed my BF Rich windows is no longer in business and neither is BF Rich from what I understand. I need to fix my bathroom window. Springs on both sides have broken. I have determined it to be a 160 series, but I'm not sure if it has a 6 or 9 stamped on it to chose the correct one

I just wanted to double check before ordering. The photos below are from a BF Rich Cabernet double hung. (the unbroken side). Looks like 6.5#/35" The S160/165 have the same T end. The other parts appear fine.

The pics are from a Simonton Dimension I single hung vinyl window. The metal coil is one-half inch wide and the white plastic piece above is one and a sixteenth wide, which is the main body and not the "ears". I need the parts for 4 windows.

I have a 160 coil balance with a 6 or 9 on it depending on if the end faces up or down. How do I know which number it is?

I have a Simonton single hung, dual pane, vinyl windows that needs a new balance on one side. Per my warranty paperwork, I believe the window is the Dimensions II model, circa 1996. The coil has a number 6 stamped on it. The windows tilt inwards.

This is a window daughters house, the window fell out and we need to replace the side springs and 1 bottom bar that attaches to the window frame. Also, if only 1 side of the glass broke, then can we get that repaired, new glass on 1 side?

Depth is 0.5 in, width 1.25 in, high 3.5 in

One shows just the bent coil, another shows all of the parts used, and the third shows the other side, installed. I have the lighter spring on the top, so behind the heavier spring, if that makes any difference. Let me know what is going on, I have installed many of these and more are needed. Mo ... (cont.)

Weight of bottom sash is approx. 25 lbs and the coil looks to have a marking of 35 on it.

There are no markings on my two balances except for a number 5 stamped on the spring coil. The balances seem to be functioning fine but they won't hold the window sash up, the sash always drifts back down slowly. I don't know what brand the window is.

The only marking I can find is the number 9 stamped on the two coil springs. Thankyou
